All I want for Christmas
All I want for Christmas is a night of unbroken sleep. Seven or eight hours would be amazing. But six would do.
Waking up on Christmas day, looking out at the morning sky and realising that was the first time I had opened my eyes since shutting them the previous night would be wonderful.
How about you?
Is there anything you are hoping for this Christmas?
As it is the season of good cheer, I am going to post out a little gift to one of my readers. To enter, just leave a comment at the end of this post, saying what you'd like for Christmas, and then click on the share icon at the bottom, to spread the word via Facebook or Twitter so more people can have a chance to enter. I'll pick a winner at random one week from today.
Because even grown ups deserve surprises, the gift will be wrapped up before being posted to the lucky winner. I am happy to post it internationally (it delights me when I look at the map on the blogger statistics and see loads of different countries showing up). Would you like a clue as to what your present will be? It has big colourful bobbles and opens and closes...
Happy Christmas, lovely readers!

I'm with you on the uninterrupted sleep. Anything over 4 hours would be a record I think! Hope Santa thinks we've both been good enough! X
ReplyDeleteOooh I love a giveaway! :-) Especially if its something awesome from your clever hands. For Christmas I'd love to get a pair of flat patent riding boots (not for riding, you understand, just because they look cool!) xxx
ReplyDeleteI'd really like to be with my daughter for Christmas. That's all. Enjoy Christmas with your girls, precious times xx

ReplyDeleteA happy, healthy family please :) Ooh and while you're asking, some Ugg biker boots would be fabby ;) xxx
ReplyDeleteDon't really need any material stuff, although a rotary cutter and mat would be nice. But then if I don't get that from Santa I'll definitely be buying myself in the new year! And then of course, some time to make use of it, and a super-crafty 2014. Happy Christmas to you and yours xxx
ReplyDeleteSleep is for wimps!! ;-) Im so with you though, I have managed a couple of nights recently where I have opened my eyes to the noises of my youngest expecting it to be the middle of the night and it is close to 6am and I am so happy! really sets me up for a good day! who knew 6am was a lie in!!

What a lovely idea and how cool if the likes and shares go global :-) All i want is a quiet life this christmas with happy faces and no bickering - fingers crossed xxx
ReplyDeleteTime. I would like more time, to get all the things I have to do and all the things I want to do done. And for people to stop asking me to make their curtains and blinds! lol. And for my family to be happy - but I think they are fairly happy already so I'm sure that wish will be granted. A full nights sleep is bliss - I do get them sometimes so I guess I should consider myself lucky :o) Sam x
ReplyDeleteMore time, less rushing is my Christmas wish, oh and a flat stomach but I guess after 3 kids both are a distant memory! Looking forward to having a bit of me time on your workshop on Friday though :-)
ReplyDeleteI would like some quality time with our children - our first Christmas in Aberystwyth, our first Christmas as officers (ministers) x
