Bag Envy

A finished bag!

Last night was the final class of the latest Kitchen Table Sewing Course.

I must say a big well done to the four ladies who came along - having all arrived as genuine beginners (i.e. not able to thread up a sewing machine), they each left last night with bags I am seriously envious of.

So, as I ought to hurry up and get on with the day ahead rather than dithering about on my laptop without further ado, here are the bags!

First up was Carrie's bag - a very elegant linen number, with some applique to  match the lining of the bag.

Now for Abbie's bold and beautiful print bag - those apples definitely make you feel like smiling!

fabric roses along the top of the pockets, using the pretty pink lining fabric
